Update on Old red. The old truck needed some serious repair. While replacing the pinion seal we noticed the cross member was heavily damaged and that a poor attempt to fix it was made many years ago. We ripped the old material out and fabricated a new cross member. This one should take the load nicely. We did make it narrower to make it easier for us to form but we increased it's thickness from 1/4 to 5/16. We hope this will solve what looked the main problem of the rear end anti rotation bar pulling a hole in the cross member. Something we'll need to monitor a bit this coming season. ![]()
